Contact Groups

The Contacts area allows you to enter and maintain all of the contacts or Guests that your Property works with, helping build relationships with your clients and to maintain those relationships. Contacts are used with Companies and Groups, and are usually the people that you are "working with" on a particular booking. The Contact Groups command allows you to link several contacts together in order to establish a group or relationship of contacts that exist in your Skyware Systems.  A Contact Group may be a collection of contacts for companies that use your Property in similar ways or that are associated with a particular manager; any grouping of contacts that your Property wishes to use to make interactions more efficient.

The Contact Group Account screen is very similar in appearance to both the Contact Account screen or the Group Account screen, sharing many of the same fields. To create a Contact Group record in your Skyware Systems you should use the Contact Group command (which can be found in multiple places within Skyware) to open the Contact Group Account screen.

The Contact Group Account screen has several tabs on which information may be entered. Use the tabs to access different information about the Contact Group account. These tabs include General, Other, Contacts, Stays, and Comments. ONLY the General tab contains REQUIRED fields for generating a new Group Contact entry, however, for a Contact Group account, it is expected that you will add any associated contacts using the Contacts tab, to link them together (the function of a Contact Group).

Note: Any guest accounts added to the Contact Group account will automatically be added as contacts in Skyware records (and therefore may also be viewed subsequently in the Contact's area).
